At Techfugees, we believe technology can be a powerful tool for social change. We GUIDE displaced people to trusted information for safety and wayfinding; CONNECT them to trusted resources, connections & networks; and GROW displaced people to discover untapped talent, access work opportunities, and become positive societal contributors.
From enabling free access to information for digital communities in France to creating a Digital corridor program that helped refugees and displaced people in Lebanon get digital skills and discover employment opportunities in Canada – we strive to make a real difference in the lives of those affected by displacement through innovation, inclusion and empowerment.
As a volunteer, you will play a critical role in driving social impact through digital technology. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including displaced persons, humanitarian NGOs, digital tech corporates, institutions, and other Chapters worldwide. You will also have the chance to represent Techfugees at local events and meetups and share your knowledge and insights with others passionate about driving positive change.
