Techfugees Netherlands in partnership with MAD Emergent Art Center (MadLab) and the municipality of Eindhoven have organised an 8-hour in Eindhoven.
The hackathon is part of the 24-hours marathon called MO 040 XL that officially starts this Sunday, October 17 at 20:30 in Van der Valk Hotel Eindhoven. The innovative collaboration of people with diverse backgrounds is in DNA of Eindhoven society and MO 040 XL was designed to create ecosystem sustainable for the future. There will be a lot of matchmaking activities and meetings around issues of an inclusive society.
How to create a society where refugees are welcome to use their own strength and find their place? MadLab and Techfugees Netherlands invited local artists, designers, techies and hackers for 8 straight hours of hacking to develop solutions for refugee inclusion.
On Saturday, the municipality will also hold the 10th semi-annual dinner for local businesses and voluntary organisations to share knowledge and commitment.

MadLab is a platform for technologists, hackers and makers, designers and artists who want to do and make interesting and innovative stuff. Their activities involve among others, organizing meetups, hackatons, workshops, as well as the Eindhoven Maker Faire.
