We are delighted to announce the dates of the second edition of the Techfugees Global Summit which will takes place in Paris, at Station F, on October 25th and 26th 2018.
Last year’s theme was “the refugee journey” and we had the privilege to enjoy the presence of incredible speakers like Rania Mustafa Ali, the 20 years old who filmed her journey to Europe from Raqqa, Hassan Akkad award winning author of documentary Exodus and Mike Zuckerman from Elpida home to give only a few names.
This year’ summit will be themed, after Techfugees’ CEO opening keynote at SXSW, Let’s tech the borders down!
It will bring the leading innovators building technology to challenge the way to deliver aid and support to refugees and displaced people worldwide; ask about the accountability of developers and designers in building tech in humanitarian situations and look at the limitations of technology on a growing political issue.
Through talks, workshops, networking and a pitching competition, the Techfugees Global Summit will showcase and encourage impact-driven innovation to transform the existing global refugee system and its inadequacies.
Come join us to meet and network with the community of technologists, investors, corporates, governmental representatives, refugees and charity leaders that are building technology for refugees at the largest startup campus in the world.
