Techfugees is delighted to announce the appointment of Elina Zheleva as President of the Fund Committee to its European Fund managed by the King Baudouin Foundation.
A leadership appointment to accelerate European philanthropy efforts supporting Techfugees global community initiatives to empower inclusion of forcibly displaced people with responsible tech, given rapidly rising trends of global forced displacement due to conflicts and climate change.
As a senior executive with diverse experience in strategic planning, business development and finance management roles, Elina is currently Executive Director and Managing Partner at launchlabs Sofia – a business redesign studio with offices in Sofia, Berlin, Basel and Bangalore. In this capacity she elevates Fortune 500 companies, public organisations and NGOs to redesign themselves into more innovative and human-centric ventures.
She is also a member of the founding team of BG4UA – Bulgaria for Ukraine initiative representing the largest fund empowering inclusion of thousands of forcibly displaced Ukrainians in Bulgaria.
Elina stands for #WithRefugees around the world and is committed to contribute to Techfugees mission to empower refugees with responsible tech developed for and with them, whilst amplifying their human rights in the digital society.
