Welcome Sabah Zdanowska

Techfugees is delighted to announce the appointment of Sabah Zdanowska to the Global Board as Non-Executive Director to accelerate international global community efforts serving to empower inclusion of forcibly displaced persons with responsible tech.

 

As industry experts, non-executive board members embrace the Global Board culture of  ‘Triple-A’ philanthropy with each member serving as Ambassador, Advocate, and Asker with Techfugees core DRENCH values of dignity, respect, equality, neutrality, commitment as servant leaders and humility to translate actions to empower displaced persons and solidarity for global teaming.

Sabah has a deep interest is finding new opportunities for positive change and as Founder & MD of Ventures Consulting, her expertise in product strategy, design and communications consultancy transforms organisations of all sizes across the digital tech and sustainability sectors on product, open data, KYC/AML/compliance and technology strategy in guiding the innovation process to accelerate development and prototype testing to establish product/market fit.

Serving Techfugees mission to scale international efforts, Sabah will be championing the Techfugees guiding principles whilst assisting the strategy to accelerate innovations-inclusion-insights platform development for the Techfugees global community to knowledge share best practices and showcase of responsible humanitarian tech solutions for displaced persons to have equitable access to information, education, health, work and integration in the digital society.

In addition, with Techfugees current mobilisation of the pan-European Emergency Response Network for Ukraine, Sabah will also have a key role to assist in the technical assessment and selection of humanitarian crisis management solutions for displaced persons to have access to trusted safe wayfinding including humanitarian solutions to safeguard and empowering inclusion to those forcibly displaced from Ukraine.

Sabah stands #WithRefugees around the world and is committed to contribute to Techfugees mission to empower refugees with responsible tech developed for and with them, whilst advocating call-to-actions to support international programmes serving to advance the rights of forcibly displaced persons in the digital society.
