The MIT Enterprise Forum Pan Arab will announce winners of the Innovate for Refugees competition in a ceremony that will be taking place on the 28th of January 2018 at the King Hussein Business Park, Auditorium.
The Innovate for Refugees Competition (IFR Competition) is designed to attract the best tech-driven solutions addressing the refugee crisis. Launched on World Refugee Day in 2016, the Innovate for Refugees program is an initiative by the MIT Enterprise Forum Pan Arab to find and reward innovative and tech-driven solutions for life-threatening challenges faced by refugees worldwide.
The final event gathers all stakeholders involved in the program to celebrate the winners, discuss important topics, and network. The event is an opportunity to announce the launch of the MIT reACT Hub initiative. Techfugees’ CEO, Joséphine Goube, will be speaking on a panel “Impact investment and funding tech innovation for refugees and vulnerable populations”.
