Techfugees Turkey started in 2016 and aims to grow a local community of technology & digital expert volunteers who are interested to support refugee initiatives, which can be local and international NGOs or grassroot initiatives, focussing on fostering access to employment to displaced people. A new team relaunched the Chapter in 2020 ! Stay tuned.

Muna Alramadhani, co-lead
Muna is an entrepreneurship trainer currently finishing a bachelor's degree in City and Urban Planning from Yildiz Technical University. She has three years of freelance experience in the field of translation and interpreting as well as graphic design and content writing. She has currently dedicated her time to social work with several organisations based in istanbul- Turkey.
Mohamed Kawsara, co-lead
Mohamed studied Software Engineering and Computer Science in Syria and in Turkey, and has been working as a web developer for the past 8+ years in several positions including as a team leader and as a CTO, now established a company for Web & Mobile services based in Istanbul for the past 3 years.
Mehmet Cedit, Co-lead
Product & business development professional expertise in online business domain. Mehmet has worked with multiple international projects & companies with different sizes & industries, offering 10+ years track record of progressive experience in different technologies applied on web, e-commerce, CRM, mobile apps, and digital marketing, strengthened with high-quality management & strong collaboration skills to thrive in fast-paced, high-stress environments.
Mustafa Ozer, Advisor
Holding MSc Development Economics from SOAS, Mustafa is passionate about connecting people with opportunities to use his skills and network to create an inclusive and sustainable world. Having more than 8 years of experience working at the intersection of nonprofits and corporations, designing impactful projects and forging mutually beneficial partnerships. He has particular expertise in economic empowerment including refugee entrepreneurship and localisation of the sustainable development goals.
